Overall, me and my partner had a pleasant stay for the one night we booked to have some privacy in a standard double bed room. However, the showers are cold, as per other reviews and we understand the comments shared about the staff socialising in the evening. But, this did not affect our stay. The rooftop is super underrated and pictures should be shared on the listening to attract more bookings.

There is no hot water. You have to have it dribble out if you want it to be lukewarm. The weather of Arequipa is not compatible with cold showers. The location is central to the historic area and nice restaurants, but the employees also live (?) and party at the hostel, so it will be pretty loud at night. Employees are nice and responsive, but the hostel seems more like a place for them to hang out than an actual business geared to backpackers.

Friendly staff, cold showers. One of those places where the staff live there and you feel like you are in their space.
