Sandy Bottoms Hostel i Albufeira har en fantastisk beliggenhed, tæt på stranden og byens centrum. Gæster sætter pris på det venlige personale og tagterrassen. Nogle nylige anmeldelser nævner støj fra nærliggende barer og lejlighedsvise problemer med brusebadets design eller renlighed, men den generelle stemning er social og imødekommende, ideel for unge rejsende.

Not a terrible hostel. It’s practically impossible to find. If you google it, it doesn’t exist. The address on “Hostelworld” is a completely different place. I asked at shops, hotels, hostels and no one had heard of it. I eventually found it of course. More by accident than knowledge. It’s pretty much what you expect from a hostel in a very Blackpool in the sun area. If you like karaoke and booze, winner winner chicken dinner. The owner is trying. Hats off. 6 out of 10 is very fair.

No staff when I arrived at the hostel. Hadn’t received any emails or WhatsApp messages explaining how to get into the building. Waited about 1h. A hostel guest helped me, got in contact & showed me my bed and door codes. Still no staff around.

Owner was super nice and helped me with everything I needed. Terrace is an amazing view too. It’s super close to everything which means it’s a bit loud as well but mainly just on the weekend.
