Layday Surf Ahangama

I’d like to thank Rukshan for his incredible hospitality. I highly recommend staying here because it’s such a cozy place. It’s brand new, so everything feels fresh and well-kept. It’s very comfortable, quite luxurious, and offers great value for money. I especially loved the bathroom, and the beds come with two pillows, which made it easy for me to sleep and rest just like at home. The place is super clean and smells amazing. By far, this has been one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at so far.

Well located, very clean, good air conditioning and a great host! Layday Surf is just one dorm room with 4 bunk beds so it is very quiet which was amazing. A little bit difficult to find but the host was very responsive and promises a sign will be put up ASAP. To get there follow google maps- there is a large black gate that you need to open, once through the gate you will see a wooden platform with a door through to the layday surf area to the right of the house. Seriously the best hostel I’ve stayed in throughout my 7 months travelling. I’m so sad I wasn’t there for long because it was just so so nice. Super clean, nice style, the showers are great, it’s cosy, there’s a nice inside place to sit & hang out. The lovely family who own this make such an effort to be present and helpful. HIGHLY recommend!
