Residencial Funchalissa vierailusi aikana suosittelemme vierailemaan Zona Velhassa (vanhassakaupungissa), vain kahden minuutin kävelymatkan päässä.
Tätä historiallista aluetta on äskettäin elvytetty kulttuuriympäristöön, ja voit katsella silmiäsi kauniille maalauksille, joita paikalliset taiteilijat ovat piirtäneet kapeita katuja viivoittaviin taloihin.

On the up side, the hostel was clean and well serviced, good value for money, ideally located in the centre of Old Funchal opposite the fish and fruit markets, and surprisingly cool and quiet at night. On the down side, our room was in need of a little repair and investment - the shower fitting was broken and it wasn’t possible to securely close the window.

Great value for the price. Positioned very centrally, right across the street from Mercado dos Lavradores, making it easy to reach everywhere. The room was cleaned daily, the bed made, towels changed, etc. (They even folded my pajamas! :))) ) The kitchen was very useful when we were too tired or didn't feel like eating out after long hiking days. Self check-in and check-out were convenient. -Smells like mold at the entrance (Room was CLEAN) -Bed uncomfortable

The location is very central and the room was cheap. However, the 3 bed room I booked only had two beds, and the shower leaked every time it was used. I only stayed for a couple of days so it wasn't too bad, but I would not choose to stay there any longer.
