La Hamaca Hostel sijaitsee Utilassa. Meidät on luokiteltu Hondurasin ykköshostelliksi. Olemme ylpeitä ystävällisestä ja asiantuntevasta kaksikielisestä henkilökunnasta, puhtaista yksityisistä / AC-TV-huoneista ja tilavista ylellisistä asuntoloista.

Olemme Utilassa, joka on yksi Hondurasin lahtisaarista, Karibialla, mantereen pohjoispuolella. Se tunnetaan koralliriutoistaan ja monista sukelluskohteistaan. Valashain ja Oceanic Research Center tutkii tätä suurta kalalajia, joka löytyy ympäröivistä vesistä.

Meillä on paikan päällä oleva baari ja ravintola, kauniit sosiaaliset alueet riippumatoilla, kansi, ranta, kirjanvaihto, retkiä, pelejä, pesulapalvelu, Wi-Fi kaikkialla, turvakamerat. Comfortable enough but no staff / reception on site while I was there. The door was also always left open, which went out onto the street. When we arrived we weren’t even told there was a front door / keypad number. The main socialising/eating area is nice but closes at 2pm and is deserted after that. The dorms were okay, clean enough but the bed sheets didn’t fit the bed so came off instantly. I would have preferred to not pay the more expensive price and stayed at a cheaper hostel instead.

Great little place conveniently located just 100m or so from the ferry terminal in Utila. The staff are nice, and the downstairs cafe has a seating area right on the waterfront which makes for a beautiful spot to read, play games etc. The bathroom/sleeping facilities are basic but perfectly fine for a few nights, if a bit hot without AC. Overall very good value for money

We had a great stay at La Hamaca. The cafe attached has amazing food and a great area to lounge. The staff were so lovely. We got really lucky to be able to upgrade to a room with air conditioning when we checked in. I don’t know how we would have survived if we had to stay in the room we originally booked because it was so hot. The bathrooms were extremely hot, I would drip sweat all over every time I went for even just a minute or two.
