Nice hostel but not very social… the terrasse is a good place to hang out out and there are some places to sit down. The staff is friendly and they just opened a cafe. The rooms are fine, the bathrooms are clean. Unfortunately we had a heavy rain and through the closed windows some rain dropped on my bed. They accept card but there’s also a free ATM one minute away. Big minus: No kitchen. Due to high prices on the island I would’ve loved a kitchen. But they gave me some utensils to eat my food.

After reading some of the reviews I was skeptical to book, but I did anyway. I’m not hard to please, so in my honest opinion, this hostel really is not that bad. The staff were nice and professional, check-in was quick and easy. I stayed for 5 days and everyday someone came in to clean up. It would be great if they had a kitchen, but at least there’s a restaurant on site. The stay would’ve been perfect, but I unfortunately got devoured by bed bugs really bad. Hopefully they fix this issue.

We couldn’t find the hostal. There’s a sign at the gate, inside a sign for pink flamingo, and one that says private property. We thought we were trespassing. Staff were rude when mentioning a sign. Exchange rate is off, so we paid more than expected. We were shown the room and left to figure it out (toilets, shower, wifi). Guests were locked out at night because of multiple locks, no staff to help. No outlets for top bunks and too hot to sleep since fans don’t reach all beds. Bad experience.
