Valparadise Hostel

Valparadise Hostel is a great choice to base yourself while visiting Valparaiso. Valparaiso is a city of hills and this hostel is in one of the best hills, “Cerro Alegre”. There are great restaurants and interesting streets to wander from the front door. But the best part of this place is the owners, Ruben and Barbara. The two run the hostel with warmth and heart and it shows. I recommend Valparadise Hostel in Valparaiso!

I absolutely love Valparaíso - such a charming and inspiring city. I'm glad I ignored the exaggerated warnings about safety, often pushed by Santiago tour operators. It felt like any other Latin American city - just use common sense. This hostel made my stay even better, with kind hosts who made me feel at home. It's in the safest, most beautiful area. The dorm has a cute balcony where you can hear street musicians as the sunset fills the room - unforgettable
