Quite expensive for a hostel and the restaurant was expensive. my recommendation is to buy some groceries from chedraui after getting off the bus because there are no shops nearby and it's a lot to get 3 meals a day from the restaurant. slightly weird room layouts. but none of that mattered because of the incredible experience of sharing the hostel with monkeys, iguanas, agoutis and some beautiful birds. incredible experience of feeling right inside the Palenque jungle.

really good, a bit expensive for backpacking but kinda worth it. Clean, tidy, amazing water pressure and constant hot water, nice pool and places to sit, but also great location as isn't far from town but super close to the archeological site and jungle area! Super nice staff too. Just don't recommend the tour guide stand outside - but if you do go to him, never accept his first price! Great place to stay though, not super social, but could be because of down season!
