Pros: very affordable and clean, comfortable beds, lovely surroundings, a nice pool and the food was quite good as well. Also very nice and accommodating staff. Cons: Safety. There are security cameras around and guests are wearing wristbands but it doesn't feel sufficient when the doors to the dorms don't seal tight and the windows consist of only mosquito nets. Lacking a little in atmosphere but that could be because it's off-season.

We absolutely loved this place. The staff is amazing and the whole place itself gorgeous and top of the cream is the awesome wildlife and jungle surroundings. Right next to the park entry and there was a howler monkey family living in the trees. We watched them every day very close. The pool is awesome and so is the common kitchen with fridge! Really clean and nice, will def come back and stay here if I go to Palenque again!

Nice hostel but I would recommend to live closer to the city! The jungle feeling was pretty cool👍the double rooms were really good
