Got sick from pesticides fumes and was double charged for my room and then lied to about it by the manager.

This hotel was so fun! They kept the antique look in the room but it had a super updated bathroom. The place was spotless. We enjoyed our stay and of course location, location, location! Amazing! Just walk out of the hotel and have some fun in the city. The view from our window was beautiful. (A city courtyard, big trees, night life) I saw three different front desk employees and they were all nice and friendly. The housekeeper was sweet when we asked for fresh towels. What more could you want?!

This is your hack to stay downtown NYC at an affordable price! it's a proper hotel with very nice and helpful staff at the reception. When you book a proper room with bathroom, it's nothing like a hostel, but rather a full size (large for NYC) hotel room. We booked the family room which had a closed bedroom, living room with a large comfy pullout sofa and even a nice kitchenette with full size fridge. Beyond expectations for the price, especially with room cleaning service every day! 👌
