    Superb

A very cozy place to stay. Great opportunities to meet international travelers. Entertainment is offered downstairs. This will be my regular hostel to visit when traveling to Asakasa.

Very helpful staff as an English speaker I found they were very friendly and helpful. Very much enjoyed my stay. Close to all the necessities. Thank you. Would recommend to all if staying on a budget and your days are full of activities.

    Fabulous

Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, a good location to explore Tokyo, a 10-minute walk to metro/train stations. Very easy access if you are arriving/leaving from Narita airport. We stayed in a double room in the annex property a short walk away from the main premises, this offered a private en-suite room with small kitchen facilities. Considering you are in Tokyo, good value for money, the bathroom is small, but in general most things are on a smaller scale in Japan! We would stay here again.

    Very Good

A single room for incredibly cheap. It's hard to find too much fault at that price. The room was perpetually damp, and the comforter was far too small for someone over 6 foot, but the staff was friendly, and the rooms were secure enough. If all you care about is having a place to lay your head, it'll do on a budget, for a few days, at least. NOTE: the first floor is a bar and has lots of events. I'm not a party person, so I didn't spend any time down there, but it might be a draw for you.

    Very Good

Kind of dirty all-round! But expectedly after reading some of the Korea recent comments. Location is honesty incredible with only a 10 minute walk to Asakusa's main subway station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pictured are old and are possibly a little edited (experience with lightroom/photoshop)

    Good

The kitchen is very small with limited space in the fridge for your food. It wasn't clean at all, and there weren't enough plates/cutlery/etc. Bedroom was alright (3p) but noisy and uncomfortably small beds. However, this was the cheapest option we could find so if you don't mind the kitchen and a crappy bed, then I'd recommend this place. Fantastic location and with the bar downstairs a good opportunity to meet fellow travelers.

    Good

I stayed at this hostel for 2 nights, and it was ok. Not more than that. Asakusa is a quiet neighborhood, that is well connected by the metro. The only thing that really really bothered me is that the bar, which is the entrance to the hostel, is always stinky with cigarette smoke. In Japan it is still legal to smoke in restaurants and bars, but I think the owners of this hostel must ban smoking inside the bar because it's a hostel with international guests and I would come back because of this

This place is not clean and I would advise not staying there. Pee and worse on the floor in the bathroom, slippers worn out and smelly, room dusty and moldy, and the stairwell looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a decade. The bathroom sinks were full of hair and toothpaste and dust. Tissue wads and sneakers were on the floor in the hallway, left by a guest and didn’t get moved for two days. Another guest made the worst hacking / spitting sounds for days. Please do better! Clean more!
