Easily one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The nightly pubcrawl is definitely worth it too. Beds are possibly one of the comforts I've ever had at s hostel, staff are lovely, facilities are superb, cant complain at all.

Had a great time at Abbey Court. The staff are really kind and always willing to help/chat. The free breakfast is really well organized and stocked and is gray before a day about the city. It’s a really big hostel so there are always people around to chat with, which is nice. Would definitely recommend!

Location is very good and nearest to the city centre. Staffs are kind. The place & toilet is very clean. I just dont like the graffitis on the walls, makes the place/ corridors very dark or small. But overall, I had a nice stay and would recommend it to travelers.

Brilliant stay. We were in a room of 36, it was a tad stuffy and could use some room fans but the staff were super friendly and the place was very clean. Highly recommend.

    Very Good

    16 Apr 2019
The hostel itself was nothing exciting, but it was in a good location and provided a good place to sleep. The staff was great and I loved that there was a bathroom off of the bedroom. However, the communication from the hostel initially about check in time was not clear, and we were left without a place to go for several hours. We checked our bags at the front desk and they gave us tickets, but the staff let us collect our own bags without checking and that felt very irresponsible.

Abbey Court is super well situated in the city centre. The staff were lovely and very helpful. However, the dorm we were assigned to was in a basement, connected to a single bathroom (shower/toilet) for 24 people. It was super moist in the dorm - the beds we were assigned to were wet. The lights in our section of the basement dorm didn’t work either. While I expect certain concessions with budget accommodation in a hostel, dark and wet aren’t acceptable sleeping conditions.

Very centrally locates, but it’s not the cleanest hostel. Breakfast is basic at best and toilets were messy. There are nicer places to stay that are a bit cleaner.

Large hostel that is understaffed for the number of guests staying here. Key cards never work - I stayed in two different rooms and had problems in both. Wasted 2 hours on my last day in Dublin on trying to get staff to fix my card. I was also shocked to discover that the card swipe at the entrance for the building I was staying in was broken, so anyone could walk into the building directly off the street. Very poor security. Booked a room for 4 people but 5 people stayed. Very disappointed.
