Couldn’t have been in a better spot. Right next to O’Connoll bridge and right around the corner from Temple Bar. Clean rooms, great service, and hot/cold water is great. 10/10 best place for backpackers or people looking for a basic place to stay. Saved me so much money.

Perfect for my stay, close to everything, great for starting places of tours and the temple bar area. Bed was really comfy along with bedding. Hiring a towel for a euro for my stay was more than reasonable. Breakfast was nice and simple, shower pressure was like getting in a pressure washer which was amazing. All in all, perfect for what I needed 😊

Solid hostel, great breakfast. I was in the 12 (10?) Bed dorm, enough room to spread out.

This was my first time on a solo trip and Abigail’s Hostel not only made me feel at ease in Dublin but also gave me a lot of great recommendations. Their hostel was clean, well-staffed, and provided a pretty decent breakfast.

I stayed in a six bed mixed bedroom with 5 of my friends. It was exactly what we needed. The sheets and duvets were actually very nice (you have to make it yourself). There were plugs above every bed which was great. It’s in a very touristy neighborhood which is very lively. The whole place is pretty clean. Our room only had one bathroom attached and the tub wouldn’t drain. We were also unable to get towels which I know you can rent from other hostels. Don’t ask them to a arrange a taxi for you.

    Very Good

Can’t beat the location. Very convenient and I can walk to all the major tourist attractions within 5-20 mins. Also like their security features. Not very happy with the washroom, smells like something is molded and not very pleasant. One of my USB charging station is not working. Others in the room also compliant about the malfunctioning of the charging station.

The wifi was off the whole time so I had no service. I was overcharged and it was never fixed. The rooms were so hot, stuffy, and smelly. This was the worst hostel experience I've ever had. I would never stay here again. It was an extremely expensive touristy area.

Abigails Hostel says

I think we've got an unbeatable location in Temple Bar, overlooking the Liffey. This is a converted hotel, so families and older guests feel at home, too. Plus we've got a bright, open-plan communal area-great for socialising, web surfing, watching movies… For fun we have a free walking tour every morning and a pub crawl from the hostel every evening. We've got fresh fruit and eggs at breakfast, too. We're quite close to Trinity College and Dublin Castle, but my favourite place to recommend is the Guinness Brewery. Lynda, General Manager
