Very nice location indeed! There is a bus station right outside the hostel and the temple bar area is few minutes’ walking distance. The staff there are quite helpful and friendly, giving us information and recommendations when we arrive at the first night. The free walking tour is awesome, introducing history and culture of Dublin. Would definitely come back again!

I had stayed with another hostel in dublin previously and had a bad experience! a little worried that this had lower reviews but it was great!! Staff were super helpful and friendly, the room was clean and BIG so you had enough space even with 10 people together and lots of common space to meet people. Everything is less than 15mins away (only 5 to temple bar) so it was perfect. If youre staying here you have to try a bubble waffle and tea from the shop a few doors down called lovely bubble!!

Good hostel for a short stay, not as social as some I've stayed in though. Clean room, hot powerful shower, good kitchen facilities and friendly staff. Unfortunately they didnt provide breakfast as advertised when I booked and didn't fin this out until I arrived.

Decent hostel in a convenient location near O'Connell Street but a bit bare. No chairs or table in the dorm room, only metal frame but bunk beds. Also you have to pay for luggage storage. Clean and good for a short stay if not looking to socialise.

This was just a 1-night stay before my flight out of Dublin the next day. The price spiked significantly from my stay 2 weeks before…to be expected, but it was lame to pay so much. It’s a good hostel though

Good location, clean, food available. however, i have few points to raise. 1. Quiet time was at 11, there were some people who were very noisy after midnight, i asked the staff to do something about it, he said he would but he didn't. And we could not sleep all night from the noise. ring was stolen from my toiletry bag when i was away. I cannot tell if it was one of the roommates or the cleaning staff. Sadly I didn't realize that until i was home, otherwise I would've complained.

I have been very disappointed with the mixed room for 3. The 3 beds (not superimposed) were directly facing each other. Even if it's normal not to have a lot of private space in a youth hostel, with this configuration you don't have any privacy at all. There were no plugs near the bed, none in the bathroom either, no bedside lamp or enough space to store belongings. The mattress was so old that I could feel the springs in it. Hoepfully the location of the hostel was very nice.

Abigails Hostel says

I think we've got an unbeatable location in Temple Bar, overlooking the Liffey. This is a converted hotel, so families and older guests feel at home, too. Plus we've got a bright, open-plan communal area-great for socialising, web surfing, watching movies… For fun we have a free walking tour every morning and a pub crawl from the hostel every evening. We've got fresh fruit and eggs at breakfast, too. We're quite close to Trinity College and Dublin Castle, but my favourite place to recommend is the Guinness Brewery. Lynda, General Manager
