We love hosting backpackers from all over the world (that’s you), and helping you save your euros with fab freebies like bed linen, breakfast and coffee! Catch up with other travellers over a Belgian beer or two in our funky bar, or put your musical talents to the test at our weekly jam sessions. Soak up the sun with a cool drink on the outdoor terrace, or enjoy a laid-back game of boules before heading next door to the chocolate factory (yes, chocaholics rejoice!).

Location

You’ll find us in Koekelberg, with the Belgian Chocolate Village Museum just next door. It’s an 18-minute walk to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart (for some of the best views in Brussels!). A half-hour walk will take you to the city’s main square, Grand-Place de Bruxelles. For exploring further away, you can jump on the Metro from the Simonis station just a minute's walk away. Take the 2 or 6 line to get to Brussels Airport in 35 minutes when it’s time to say "vaarwel".

Rooms and Dorms

There are loads of rooms to choose from – busy mixed or female-only dorms if you love meeting new people, as well as twin private rooms for peace and quiet. All rooms are cleaned daily and have lockers, shared bathrooms, comfy mattresses and desks for planning out your itinerary. Don’t miss the quirky artwork!

Its a really nice place to stay over a weekend. You get alot of value for money. Good breakfast, entertainment area and right next to a railway station makes travel to and from the hostel very easy. The staff are also quite helpful.

Location wise it’s abit far out, however the metro system is one of the best I have seen. Lockers are not in the room but downstairs. Showers are ok, not great- free breakfast is spot on tho

Not being able to drink inside the hostel and there being no events make this hostel much less of a meeting place for people and you wont find any semblance of community here. Luckily theres a very nice small park you can drink at. Decent location 15 minute walk away from old town. All in all if you want a hotel for cheap this is it but you wont be meeting tons of new ppl

Lacking in convenience & amenities. Does have good friendly hostel atmosphere. But every thing else inconvenience. The reception has too many responsibilities and is rarely at their post. You can only leave your room by key. The showers are not on the same floor. Hot water is occasional. There is only 1 outlet in the room for 3 people. There is nothing in the room for your things. There’s no light or charger for your bed. Not dirty or run down. But certainly not bright and charming.

In a rough part of town, not ideal for solo travellers as hostel has no activities or atmosphere for socialising. Breakfast is good and beds are comfortable but not the cleanest. Reception staff very unhelpful.

The free breakfast was good and so was the location in terms of being close to the metro, anything else was not close by. The facilities were not clean and smelt, to operate the showers you had to keep pushing the button every 15seconds as apperentlty it 'saved the environment'. There were two of us in a 6 bedroom, and we only had 2 power outlets for the entire room which was a joke!! It was cheap and close to a station which got us away from the hostel which is the only good thing about it.

The hostel is mediocre. There is not much atmosphere to meet people and it is run down. The good thing about this hostel is the free breakfast.

The room was big, but not very clean. It wasn't cosy at all and the location was far from the city centre.
