One of the best hostels! Family style dinner with 2 hours of free beer watching the sunset over the lake was amazing. Great vibes and atmosphere. Loved the fun fee - was able to do a heap more fun things I normally couldn’t afford to do. Don’t miss out on staying here

This hostel was amazing. Management & staff were always attentive, helpful & provided support to me and all guests. Everyone was super friendly. The vibe at the hostel can be as chill as you want it to be with it’s open areas, chill out hammocks, and spectacular lake views. When in the mood, you can join any of the many activities and events put on by the staff, from hikes, to games, to random theme parties. I’d recommend Free Cerveza to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Lake Atitlan.

Such a good buzz at free cerveza, really social! Gorgeous views and kayaks /paddle boards etc available to hire and other daily activities. Only downside is you end up spending a lot of money but the 3 course dinner with 2 hours of free beer for 75Q is good value!

The views are really nice, the staff was nice. I was expecting free beer with dinner, but apparently they offer that only on Saturdays! You do get a free beer when you check in, but that was it from the free beer for me. The toilets are kinda s****y, but nothing to bad. There is no wi-fi which sucks. You can rent paddle boards for free and kayaks for free which is great. The tents are pretty big. I’d stay again there if I could!

such an amazing view and great atmosphere during the day. read the fine prints because your total cost is not accurate. make sure to use the sauna and water equipment everyday to make your trip worth it! the staff was either super nice or somewhat rude. the concept can attract trashy guests, we saw people doing drugs and throwing up on the path and patio. if you like to drink beer and party it is a great place! coffee is not before 9 am

Overpriced and overrated food! Hidden fun fee is pretty deceiving you’ll have to drink over a litre of beer to make it even worth the small dinner! Everything else is mediocre compared to other hostels ive stayed in guatemala but its a beautiful property with decent vibes

It’s a rip-off. hidden fees and overpriced meals will make you spend more than you calculated. Also, beds were the worst of my entire trip - it’s like sleeping on the ground. Toilets are outdoor latrines. Pros: nice social vibe and beautiful lake view.
