General Group Booking Terms
By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.
- In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
- The booking deposit is non-refundable.
- Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
- Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
- Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
- It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
- Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.
Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions
The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card ???? Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.
The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: Holiday with Friends, Junior / Primary School, High / Secondary School, College / University, Business Trip, Stag/Hen/Bachelor Party, Sports Group, Cultural Group If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."
Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

At helloBCN hostel we believe that choosing a hostel is not just about choosing a place to sleep. We want to make your experience in Barcelona a memorable one. We've created a space where you can meet other travellers so that you'll never be on your own. We organise free walking tours and other activities for you to join! And our friendly staff are always available to give you tips on the best things to see and do in Barcelona.
We've thought about everything you need for a comfortable stay - large security lockers, breakfast, sheets, WIFI and the use of the guest kitchen, so you don't have to worry about 'hidden extras' when you arrive! We also offer rental services for things like beach and bath towels!
There are many local supermarkets and specialty food stores (eg. fruit and vegetables, bakery) nearby to help you keep within your budget.
Our reception is staffed 24 hours a day! And on check-in we will give you a key giving you 24-hour access to the hostel, so you'll never be locked out!
You're sure to make loads of new friends and travel companions in our common room where you can challenge other guests to a game of table tennis (ping pong) or Jenga! And at night relax and enjoy a nice cold beer in the bar - open from 7pm, before heading out to hit the town together!
We also give tour advice and make reservations for you. Find out from our friendly staff the best way to get to know Barcelona - on bike, bus or just walking through the many narrow streets!
If you've got more time, discover Catalunya! For example, you can go hiking, rock climbing or general sightseeing at magical Montserrat or sea kayaking on the Costa Brava.
We're located only 10 minutes walk from Las Ramblas and only two minutes' walk to the metro/ bus stop (Paral.lel), offering easy access to all tourist attractions including La Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Casa Batllo, La Pedrera, Montjuic (from which you can enjoy the panoramic views of Barcelona or just chill out in the magical bar at the Migdia lookout), and of course the beach! We're also just a 2 minute walk to two of Barcelona's most popular nightclubs amongst the locals: The Sala Apolo and Sala Plataforma. And if that’s not enough we offer free entry to some of Barcelona’s finest nightclubs – just ask at reception to find out more!

Overview

Whether you're more about evenings sipping sangria at our bar or cooking meals in the kitchen to stay on budget, do it here with us!
Location
To reach us in about 40 minutes from Barcelona–El Prat Airport, hop on a bus to Plaça d'Espanya and catch the green metro line (number 3) to Paral·lel, just a 3-minute walk from our door. We're super central, about a 15-minute walk from both the main shopping street of Las Ramblas and the quirky cobbled lanes of the Barri Gòtic (Gothic Quarter). If you want to explore further, hire one of our bikes. Check out Sagrada Família, the famous cathedral by legendary local architect Antoni Gaudí, or his colourful Parc Güell – they're both about a 20-minute ride away.
Rooms and Dorms
Big-backpack-sized security lockers, free sheets and access with an electronic wristband (no more lost keys!) all help to make HelloBCN Hostel extra convenient. Dorms, including a female-only option, have bunk beds and shared bathrooms, while a private double room comes with an en-suite.
Extras and activities
You can unwind on our terrace or in the common area, where there's table tennis and Jenga to play. Want to head out for a big one? We'll hook you up with free entry to some of Barcelona’s best nightclubs – just come chat to the staff at our 24-hour reception. We're only a couple of minutes' walk from Sala Apolo and Sala Plataforma, two local favourites in the clubbing world.

Great hostel, friendly staff, clean and welcoming :) The communal area is a great place to meet people and the kitchen has really good facilities. You can get sangria at the bar for €2! Very close to Paral-lel train station which can take you all over Barcelona. Will deffinitly stay there again when I go back :D -

Nice four-bed room, clean and good quality mattress but the pillow smelled quite bad and didn't like that there was no quilt cover, just a regular bed sheet to cover yourself and the blanket goes on top.Apart from that, all good. I had to work from the hostel and the internet was good. -

The location was absolutely great, its so close to metro and lots of food options around. Most of the employees were friendly and everything overall was good. Two down sides were that breakfast very basic (basically bread and cereal) and there was a security concern for me on the last 2 nights of my stay because there was a guest that actually pushed one of my roommates and cursed at her and they didn't kick him out of the hostel (which I thought they should have). -

I can't say I have something bad to say about my stay, maybe just give an opinion to make some improvements... The neighborhood: the Hostel is well placed, there're many bars and restos around. You can walk to the most popular places. Ex: from "la Sagrada Familia" took me around 40' walking to the hostel. However, I'd not feel safe going alone around it. The cleaning: was ok. Maybe they should pay more attention to the laundry of the sheets. Showers and toilets ok. It was right for the price.
