Staying at Meyerbeer Hostel was beyond lovely! I was there for 5 nights and it felt like I was at home. Elsa and Anna at the front desk are so sweet and helpful — they really care about you and want you to have the best stay possible! The common area is clean, intimate and relaxed. Location is great — right near the beach and a quick walk to the train station. Travellers I met there were super friendly too. Would highly recommend! Thanks again Elsa, Anna and the rest of the crew!! Xxx Sara

Location is great literally next too a super market and two blocks to the Sea. Staff is friendly, wifi is amazing some of the best I’ve had. Nice kitchen, Nice common area. Pretty easy too meet others in the common area as it’s fairly small but super nice. Biggest complaints is beds very squeaky and mattresses were past there prime about 15 years ago. Bathrooms could also use some more cleaning always out of soap and the shelf behind the toilet had garbage for my entire stay. Would recommend!

The location and price of this hostel were great. Met some great people as well. The breakfast was free and got me full. Only complaint is that the walls seemed thin so it was pretty hard to get a good nights sleep.

The staff member we interacted with was incredibly nice and gave great recommendations for what to do in the area and where to eat. The location was great and made walking around the area very easy. The bathroom was rather small and old but we were glad that it was an ensuite.

Great hostel! My only note would be that the beds are extremely shaky and the top bunks don’t have plugs next to them. There are lockers but they’re difficult to open so many people didn’t use them, as a result the already small rooms felt more cluttered. Otherwise I had a good stay and would stay again

The 3 receptionists that I spoke with were all very friendly and helpful even when they didnt know all the info. The kitchen/ common room were small but cozy. No fridge in the kitchen so you have to store food in the dorm and the mini fridges in the dorm make a lot of noise at night which can be a bit annoying. The bed was comfortable and the showers were warm. The maintenance guy that sets up breakfast (who only spoke Italian) was very rude and arrogant in the morning. Overall a positive stay.
