Only stayed one night in a private room so can't comment much. My room was tiny but it was all I needed. Nice rooftop where you can have a beer, and backpackers bar in the basement. Overall it seemed like a nice place to stay for a few nights.

The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They were genuinely glad to help my friends and I come up with plans for our trip! The bar down under is also a great atmosphere, with great drinks on tap.

    Fabulous

The location cannot be beaten as it's right next door to the Central train station. I had ordered and paid for return ConnXion transport, but they had still not arrived after half an hour, with no call to say why, so I do not recommend that service at all. Catch the airtrain directly to the airport or save money by booking in advance from the hostel. Brisbane was fantastic with free City Hopper ferries all along the river, and it's easy to walk to the two city stops from North Quay or Eagle St P

    Very Good

Overall, staff were good, communal rooms were not that inviting for socializing. I thought there were lockers in the rooms, but there are not. And otherwise, the pubs downstairs are a riot, but if you are looking to be well rested, even 3-4 floors up the pub can still be heard loud and clear at 2-3 in the morning.

Like sleeping in a sauna with no air con and only 2 fans for 8 people. Rooms smelt of sweat, no lockers at all in room (8 bed), toilets dirty, kitchen too hot to eat in so had to go all the way up to the rooftop after cooking. Water bottle didn’t fit under the any sink and kitchen closed at night so nowhere to get water which is really poor. Glad I didn’t spend more than £10 a night.

The hostel is boiling hot only a few fans to attempt to cool it down. The showers were very powerful which was good. One receptionist didn’t have a clue about Brisbane which is really helpful! There was only 1 sink that worked in the kitchen

This is the worst hostel I have ever stayed in - out of many that I have stayed at in Australia, South East Asia, India and Sri Lanka. It is completely over priced. The kitchen was dirty all the time and the fridges were over flowing, also 2/6 gas cookers didn't work. When you try to escape the room and the dirty kitchen, the only social space is just a room with a couple of shriveled bean bags and broken chairs. I left early to stay at Brisbane YHA which was the same price and A LOT nicer.
