Our double room was just what we were after. Clean, great location. Bar downstairs is great

Biggest issue was the location has no notion of zero parking. The website needs to either link to the CBD parking restrictions website or have a layout for outside the CBD to handout/email. The other issue was the bed we had had zero comfort on one half while the other was fine. Not a big issue in comparison to the parking debacle but still something to note. Aside from those two things I really enjoyed the stay at Nomads! I met a lot of awesome people and had a good experience.

    Fabulous

Overall a typical nomads hostel. Probably one of the better ones. Nice beds, nice building. The rooftop is nice and the hostel super close to everything in the city. The kitchen doesn't provide an oven or grill which was a bit annoying. The top floor also requires walking up steps because the elevator only goes to floor 4. But overall I met good friends here which made my experience in Brisbane lots of fun.

Definitely value for money, although it's hard to ignore the blaring music from the nightclub, although I'm sure that is factored into price. Overall it was a affordable stay which I needed at the time

Reception staff were very nice on arrival. We booked a double room but the room was outdated and a bad odour in it. The kitchen was messy and couldn’t find any cutlery. the mattress was very springy. Found it very hard to sleep and left extremely early because of this. Not worth the money we paid.

The hostel is dingy, it needs a lot of renovation. The pub crawl was fun and the staff were great but the facilities are lacking.

By far the worse hostel we have stayed in, the facilities were absolutely vile and so we’re the bathrooms and showers, there was *** all over the toilets in the bath rooms, it was completely vile and if you were on the top floor at all then the bathrooms/showers were outside (not nice). The rooms were like prison cells and our rooms didn’t get clean once whilst we were there

Facilities were extremely poor for such a large hostel. There were only 6 hobs with which to cook so the kitchen was always packed at peak times. The rooms and bathrooms were not clean. I stayed in a private double room, which was extremely dusty. There was also a very noisy air conditioning unit outside the window. On the floor that I was staying on, there were only 2 unisex toilets. One was out of service so there was only 1 toilet/shower for all men and women staying on that floor.

Upon arriving at Nomads in Brisbane I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with an open planned reception that looked clean and interactive, once I opened the door it was clear I was mistaken due to the smell of what I would only describe as a festering Rat cage wafted straight up my nose, slowly it became clear that this was to foreshadow the rest of my experience at Nomads
