Great location, helped us sort out hiring bikes which I would recommend to have a look around the city, only negative of this hostel is because it is big they often have large groups - French school kids when we were there, but the place is great

One of the best hostels ever. They even had a free dinner night. An absolutely beautiful location with a stunning view from the window. I had a bit of a morning surprise(the guest sleeping on the top of my bunker puked) but then I wasn't going to let that ruin my experience. Besides, everybody makes mistakes and it certainly has nothing to do with the hostel. I ended up making friends with the guy in spite of losing some sleep. I would definitely pick this hostel if I ever were to return.

    Very Good

Purple nest was much larger than anticipated, more like a large hotel. The staff was kind when we interacted but not as welcoming as expected. They may have just been exhausted and busy because there were over 50 young french school children staying there that they had to cater to for meals and things. My friend and I ran away to their partner hostel, Red Nest, to avoid the screaming children on our hall and in all the shared spaces and had a much nicer atmosphere. It was nice to access both

My stay in Valencia was good overall. The staff were nice, I met some cool people through organized activities with the hostel. Pub crawl was fun and walking tour as well. However, I was uncomfortable with the facilities, the bathrooms were cleaned regularly but I somehow always felt like they were dirty. The room was my least favourite, the floor tiles were popping off, there are no personal plugs near the bed (they’re all near the door). The bed hurt my back. I’m not sure if I would come back.

This hostel is huge probabl the worst I stayed in in Spain. I had a private room but with people coming in all through the night and being loud in the spiral stairwell and hallways I couldn't sleep. An actual fight broke out in the hallway in front of my door at 5am. I needed to go out and use the toilet but I was scared of having to get involved in this fight. I understand that the staff can't exactly control the guests but it seems like more can be done. The bar area was nice but not fun

Rooms were very hot and stuffy, staff wasnt friendly and the cleaner busted in and banged around when trying to take a quick nap, and the hostel was so incredibly loud until 4am. I am used to noisy hostels (it's fun to come and meet people!) but this was ridiculous. There were people yelling and screaming in the halls all night so we couldn't sleep. There were no rules about being silent around the dorms so everyone was running free and partying through the whole hostel instead of in the bar.

Location was great, and if you book in advance your stay can be very cheap. Staff was cool, I really enjoyed the fact that they have a kitchen. And the common area is a nice size. However, I would never stay again. Bed, linens, blanket is very uncomfortable. I'm not looking for anything fancy, but this is as low quality as it can possibly get. Paint was coming off of the walls, floors weren’t very clean, with the windows open it smelled like vomit. It was an uncomfortable experience..
