We had a lovely stay at the hostel! The private room with terrace was so much more than we expected (especially the terrace!). Breakfast was a bit basic, but not terrible for 3€. We’d definitely stay there again.

I had an enjoyable stay at Purple Nest. The location was good, the staff friendly and multi-lingual, and the rooms spacious and bright. The beds were fine. There were not many bathrooms per floor but they were well-maintained. However we did have a boy in our girls-only room.

This hostel was perfect for a weekend trip in Valencia! It was clean, close to mostly everything in the city and close to bus stops, and had a great atmosphere. The hostel offered many activities that we didn’t take part in but seemed fun and immersive into Spanish culture. All in all, it was a great stay, it was super affordable as well.

This was the second hostel I ever stayed it and I had a great time. The bar area is a fun space to meet people at night and the rooms are big. The shower was also great with plenty of hot water. There is a bus stop right outside which makes getting around super easy. Enjoy!

Great staff! And I really enjoyed the common room with a bar, kitchen and massive seating area, it meant that I could meet a lot of people! They also allowed me to refund a night that I couldn’t stay and sorted it out within 5 minutes

Great location and friendly staff. Aircon in the rooms, and a fun bar downstairs. The only downside were the toilets and showers, but if you can handle queues and roughing it for a few days, this place was good. Had some stuff stolen from my bed during the day to make sure to lock it all up!

    Very Good

The air conditioning in the dorm was only functional one of the two nights and not running during the day so it was hot in the room. The bar area in the common space is a nice touch and the clothing line to hang your laundry outside as well.

    Very Good

    07 Jul 2019
Overall the hostel was quite good, pretty central location and alright rooms. Pros: the common area was great, very modern, spacious and clean. The bar and kitchen were great as well and the environment was very social. The staff were friendly but not out of their way helpful. Cons: the bathrooms were quite basic and not tip top clean - but still alright, the rooms never really felt clean and smelled a bit funny (I guess like most hostels) and the metal bunks were a bit squeaky.

Outdated, air con shut off times in rooms are a joke, staff weren’t all that friendly, nowhere near enough showers or toilets per floor for beds on floor Location good. Breakfast for 3 euro not bad
