Property Description

Seadragon Backpackers is a small hostel with just six rooms. Set in a Regency building with tons of character and quirky corners we pride ourselves on offering a clean, well run hostel for those who visit our wonderful, vibrant city.
Our six rooms consist of 1 double room, 4 four bed mixed dorms and 1 mixed twin room. We have new wooden bunk beds (no squeaky metal here!) and they all have incredibly comfortable memory foam mattresses and great pillows.
Our basement kitchen was voted by Lonely Planet as ‘Best Hostel Kitchen’ and is open all day and night. We have a huge fridge freezer, space to sit, eat and socialise with other guests, pots, pans and everything you need to cook – just as if you were at home and everything is kept clean at all times.
Our cozy lounge is also open all day and night and there you will find television, games, book swap and comfy sofas.

We provide linen and will make up the bed ready for your arrival, free towels on request, free WIFI throughout the building. We also include breakfast of eggs, cereals, breads, jams and tea and coffee. Tea and coffee is available all day, breakfast from 07:30 to 10.30.

Our checkout time is 11:30 and check in time is from 2pm.
We are a ten minute walk from the city centre and just 30 seconds from the seafront. Right around the corner from us you will find 24 hour supermarkets and convenience stores as well as late night food places and plenty of awesome pubs. Brighton train and bus stations are also nearby.
Other hostels in Brighton and Hove may be a few pounds cheaper but with us we promise our guests that there are no hidden costs and our priority is you! View House Rules

It was a really nice place and the staff were amazing, had a mini situation with breakfast not being set out but a really funny story behind what happened and the staff were super flexible with our arrival times and just super friendly. Would recommend to anyone staying in Brighton.

Loved this place, can’t recommend enough! Only a small hostel but this really adds to the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Facilities were great, everything clean. Bed was ahhhhmazingly soft. Lounge hang-out area is great and an encouraging space (as is the kitchen) to mingle and make friends. Kevin and John were great and so accommodating in all circumstances. A short walk from the esplanade, the Pier or the Royal Pavilion. Great spot, great stay. Can’t thank them enough.

Lovely place! Feels absolutely secure&safe. Superb breakfast in the morning which made my day. Fun interior design and lovely decor! Rooms take natural light and my room had a big mirror which was much appreciated :) Bathrooms and kitchen VERY clean. Beds are mad soft! Might be even too soft if you're a hard mattress person :)) Co-op and Sainsburys open till late, close to the beach and 17 mins walk from the train station. Definitely recommend and will return!

This is such a cosy and comfortable place to stay. The owner was great and made sure everyone felt at home - great kitchen and breakfast selection too. The location is a 20 min walk from the lanes but plenty to explore on the way. Highly recommend!

Seadreagon is very basic and affordable hostel in about a kilometer walking distance from the city center and it's located very close to the beach. The rooms are tiny and are basically just for sleeping, no outlets or reading lights next to the beds (which can be annoying when people come in later at night). Breakfast is included. The staff was nice and helpful. Facilities were average.
