Seadragon Backpackers is a small hostel with just six rooms. Set in a Regency building with tons of character and quirky corners we pride ourselves on offering a clean, well run hostel for those who visit our wonderful, vibrant city.

We are a ten minute walk from the city centre and just 30 seconds from the seafront. Right around the corner from us you will find 24 hour supermarkets and convenience stores as well as late night food places and plenty of awesome pubs. Brighton train and bus stations are also nearby.
With everything so close, being a stones throw from the beach and a short walk from the Brighton nightlife, we are the perfect place for a few days to drop your bags and go and explore the city and beachfront.

Our six rooms consist of 1 Double bed room, 2 Twin bed mixed dorms, 2 Four bed mixed dorms & 1 Four bed female only dorm.
All our beds have incredibly comfortable memory foam mattresses and great pillows.
Plug and USB chargers in all rooms, with shared toilet facilities.

Our lounge & kitchen are both open for our guests 24 hours a day, Our lounge even has a smart TV for your streaming services.
Tea and Coffee are free to all our guests along with free WIFI throughout the building.
We provide linen and will make up the bed ready for your arrival, with towels available on request.
We have staff available 24 hours a day.

Check in is from 2pm
Check out is 11am

Any bookings over £200 will need to pay a non-refundable deposit of 50% up to 4 weeks in advance of arrival.
We have a 7 day cancellation policy. Any cancellations during this time will be charged.
We will process payments within 6 days of arrival, please ensure you have the funds available during this window.
You will receive our check in email on the day of your arrival which includes all the details you need for your stay.

We found bed bugs in the room, and decided to leave the room at 01.15am so we did not get bitten anymore.. The shower had a sign saying it did not work on our floor. The location was good and was easy to find

I stayed for one night in a private room. The hostel is a simple bus ride from Brighton station, in a great location in the centre of Hove and it was easy to get in. The room was great - clean and had everything I needed, with the bathroom right next door. Two down sides - 1) the bathroom was a bit shabby with a rusty radiator and peeling paint. 2) There was no staff member present when I checked in and when I checked out. But good value for a basic, short stay.
