Great place to stay in Mexico City. Definitely a nice social environment and it's easy to meet people to hang out with. Good location near the metro and buses. Also highly recommend the hostel events, especially the food tour and the mezcal tasting with Betty and Jessica. They are great people and very passionate about Mexican culture. Also the free hot breakfast is a plus. The ladies who prepare the breakfast are the nicest!

Our stay at Suites Hostel DF was excellent. We stayed in a private bedroom which upon arrival was very comfortable, clean, and a good value for price. Overall, everything was great, but I do have to mention the gentlemen at the front desk, Marco, who was incredibly helpful and informative when I had questions about the history of Mexico and concerns about going out. His mother and sister at the hostel were also very caring and helpful when my friend got sick. Thank you to them for a great stay!

Great hostel. Nice size beds, good morning breakfast. There's a guy who works during the night (I wish I remembered his name) but he's super friendly and helpful. A pleasant stay.

I absolutely loved Hostel DF! This was the best hostel experience that I’ve ever had! I initially planned to stay 4 days and I ended up staying for 7. All of the staff were really nice, breakfast was amazing and I highly recommend the walking history/food tour and Mescal tasting experience by Betty and Yessica. This hostel has a knack for connecting some of the coolest people. If you are coming to Mexico City I don’t recommend staying anywhere else but Hostel DF!

I had a very good stay at Hostel Suites DF. It is very clean, very centrally located near the Revolution Monument and the vibes are pretty cool. The only reason I gave the staff 3 stars is because they messed up one of the tours I had planned on taking. They did not tell me about the change in timing for the Xochimilco tour as they signed me up on an external tour instead of the hostel tour (They did not have enough people) and I had to miss out on taking the tour as I was not ready.

Was clean, safe, good location! Party hostel? Not Mon-Wed. The dead social atmosphere unfortunately made the tuesday lucha libre hostel event very underwhelming.Picks up Thurs-Sat. Food tour was not bad. It's history+food. I wouldn't mind if it was just all food tho.Obscure Mexican food like the pambazos.Throw in Tacos envenenados & grasshoppers and it'd be a hit.ATTN light sleepers,Bring ear plugs!Rooms are too warm+there is a lot of street noise. If hostel invests in fans it would solve both probs

Love staying here. I don't know what it is about it but it's such a social hostel but definitely not a party hostel. So great for meeting people especially as a solo traveller

    Very Good

Great location, slept well, the neighborhood can be noisy especially on the weekend but that’s probably going to be everywhere in Mexico City. It’s not exactly a party hostel per say (as you get in Europe or other countries) but it’s quite easy to meet people and there are a few nice social spaces. Biggest negative is that the WiFi is not very good and the breakfast is bleh. I overall do recommend this place.

My stay here was only for one night. The staff was ok, a bit cold I would say. The chip on my card had an issue, they took my ID until I figured it out the next morning. This was fine as I knew they were following protocol. What made me uncomfortable is when I sorted it out the next day, the new guy had no idea he had my ID. Location was good but a bit loud. Overall ok for one night but would not stay here again.
