Property Description

We’re perfectly located for anyone who wants to stay in the centre of Munich. Situated next to Central Station, the area is also busy and provides easy access to all that central Munich has to offer.
There’s easy and direct access from Munich Airport by tube, straight to Central Station. You can choose either ensuite rooms (with their own private bathroom) or the less expensive dorm rooms (with showers and toilets shared with a limited number of other guests).

Our dorms have unique features including reading lights. Every bed has its own separate locker, to use for free with your own lock, as well as warm and very comfy beds!
There are also locks to rent at reception. Linen are included and the beds are made for you. We offer a wide selection of dorms, ranging from four-bed to a 12-bed dorm for the really price-conscious traveller. We’re one of the few hostels offering a tasty continental breakfast buffet, which is included in the price. Choose from a huge selection of delicious items to a perfect start into the day.

Just to help you to compare: Hostels generally charge between €3.50 and €4.90 for a similar breakfast to ours. Reception is open 24 hours. Our friendly staff is on hand to answer your questions, speaking German, Bavarian, English and French and are knowledgeable about sights and activities throughout Munich and Bavaria.

If you arrive earlier than 3 pm, you can leave your bags in our free luggage room as long as there is space available. We also offer private secure lockers to rent. Our bar has very good prices and is open daily from 6pm. We’re the only hostel serving Munich’s most famous beer (Hofbräu) from the tap! Show your skills at our pool table!

We would like to note that we don’t have a guest kitchen and don’t plan to get one. And remember – there’s no age limit, no curfew, no lock-out and no strict laws! Welcome to our home!

Please note that we have special conditions during Oktoberfest and for groups of 15 persons or more.

Great breakfast - I'm used to breakfast at a hostel meaning some bread and spreads but this definitely was much more than this. Clean hostel, good location. Powerpoints above the bed and a free drink on arrival. Great.

This hostel was a very close walk to the train station so that made everything very convenient. Everything was reasonably clean and the beds were comfortable. The rooms were pretty hot at night but with the window open the noise from the street carried up, so it wasn't the quietest place to sleep. We liked having breakfast included though. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

At first we stayed in a room which happened to be with a very creepy and offensive man which made us uncomfortable. It was very noisy and a bit stinky in the room, but after deciding to move to a private room the hostel receptionist asked why and quickly changed our room to a four bed female room for free which was much better. Our experience during the first two nights would have been 1 star, but thanks to the staff’s accommodation afterwards our stay was 10/10.

    Very Good

Good location, right by the main station and in about 20 min walk from the old town and most touristy destinations. Staff was nice, the room was clean. As most people here said the free breakfast is AMAZING. You don't get that much food even with payed breakfasts in most hostels. No kitchen for dinner tho. And showers do suck, horrible. No place to put your things on the inside so you dress outside and it sprays all over. For me that was fine, but you might have to flash some people in there :D

The hostel was okay. Staff members were kind of rude and clearly in hurry to get rid of us. The room we stayed in was really small and hot. The window was open all night but did noting to the air. The noises from downstairs bar area were really loud and continued late till over midnight. Some of the guests even kept the door to the room open to try to make the air change. We would also wish the hostel would give some guidelines on how to behave in the dormitories, since clearly not all no how.

Mostly fine; generally clean, decent bathrooms, equipped bedrooms. Nothing special about it but nothing bad either, just a fine hostel for a night or two. However, where this hostel really gets sketchy is with the crowd it attracts, it is full, and I genuinely mean FULL of old men. Being in a room with two 18-20 year old girls and two 40+ year old men who stare at the girls and undress with no regard is just not on. Younger people, particularly girls should avoid this place, very discomforting.
