Awesome hostel in the paradise, no wifi which makes it even more special. If you need wifi you can always take a 15 minute walk to el valle, there is free wifi there. Staff is awesome and the bar prices are quite cheap. Thanks to Tyler and all his team for an amazing week.

Epic location on Almejal Beach, waves in front of the hostel, the staff were super helpful and the sunsets out of control! Its a rustic hostel but has everything you need, good local style food and cold beer.

LOVED it here. The volunteer was helpful, as he could speak English, however wasn't always accurate in the information he gave and sometimes had an attitude.

Unbelievably pretty spot on the beach, surrounded by the rainforest. A little expensive considering the basic accommodation and a bit under-equipped kitchen (broken stove, c**p pans, only one pot) Also somewhat stupid that you can't pay the entire stay upfront online

M friend and I reserved a 4 bed dorm together and when we arrived they said they don't reserve beds for specific rooms so you just sleep wherever there is a bed free. So my friend and I had to sleep in separate rooms, he was in a nice 4 bed dorm and I was in a dark 6 bed dorm for our entire stay. Every day they said they would sort it out but nothing got done and it was especially disappointing because there were empty beds at night in the 4 bed room. Nice place, but wouldn't go back

An okay place to stay. The surrounding beach is breathtaking but the hostel itself is not abundantly clean. Our beds were damp but it is the tail end of rainy season in one of the rainiest places on earth. Staff were detached at best and downright rude at their worst. You don’t need to smile 24/7 but it’s hard to appreciate being grunted and scowled at for asking for a coffee mug. A fellow guest was also electrocuted by faulty wiring in the guest kitchen which was also dirty and poorly stocked.
