General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
The booking deposit is non-refundable.
Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card on arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: Junior / Primary School, High / Secondary School, Business Trip, Stag/Hen/Bachelor Party If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Located in the city centre, in the heart of historic Little India, we're close to everything which a backpacker could possibly need - bus stations, MRT (subway) stations, cheap eats, supermarkets, money changers, ATMs, post office, places of interest, etc.

We're also the only hostel in Singapore to be appointed an official Singapore Visitor Centre by the Tourism Board. You can be sure we know our stuff!

Come join us on our Free Kick Scooter Tours of the city... and if weather permits, our island-hopping tours on our very own boat!

We offer DISCOUNT tickets to various attractions in Singapore (e.g. Universal Studios, SEA Aquarium, Zoo, Night Safari, River Safari, etc). We also serve the cheapest cold beer in the entire Singapore (ah...the privileges of our guests)!

Overview

The InnCrowd Backpackers Hostel 2 is the only hostel in Singapore that's appointed an official Singapore Visitor Centre by the Tourism Board. We like to think this is because we know exactly what every traveller needs! Our mission is to save your cash, so we give you a free breakfast and free guided tours every day, plus scooter rides and island-hopping on our boat. Make new friends over the very cheap, very cold beer in our bar or grab a seat in front of the TV in our common room when you're partied out. Topping up your tan? We have a great roof terrace for that.

Location

We're in historic Little India surrounded by supermarkets, money exchanges and inexpensive food! With subways and bus stations nearby, getting around is easy – Singapore Botanic Gardens is about 45 minutes away, just catch the 7 bus from Parkview Square. From Changi Airport, take the MRT subway to Rochor station, changing at Tanah Merah and Bugis stations – we're about 10 minutes' walk from there and the total journey is under an hour. Otherwise, take the airport shuttle which drops passengers at most downtown hotels for about S$9.

Rooms and Dorms

Choose from private rooms or mixed dorms – all with linen included. Cotton bedding, woven Indian blankets and orthopaedic mattresses will make sure you're comfy (as will the air con). Try out our open-air rooftop showers, or keep it classic with country-club-styled toilets and showers. Towels and hairdryers are available for hire. You can store valuables in our safe deposit box and backpacks in our security lockers.

Extras and activities

Take a free city map to keep you on track as you explore by yourself and talk to us about discount tickets for Universal Studios or a river safari. You can make a packed lunch in our kitchen to take with you. Say hi to your folks using our free Wi-Fi before you set out. Give dirty clothes a wash using our laundry facilities.

You know what you are getting with this hostel. Simple but effective. Clean comfortable beds, many people for the amount of showers/sinks but still says acceptably clean. Key card to get in and out and padlocks for lockers. Location is great and nearby MRT stations. Staff always willing to help with advice.

The Scooter tour that they are doing was really so nice ,we enjoyed so much!! The location was nice it’s perfect for couple of days. Breakfast could be little bit better. The staff was really always smiley and helpfull for everything we were asking

I had a great time staying in the hostel. Very nice place to meet other backpackers esp if you are traveling alone like me. The scooter tour was so fun. I had a blast and the staffs were friendly. Overall i am very satisfied!

The room I stayed in was great, it was like capsule set up, the curtains for complete privacy (and darkness), as well as a shelf, light and plus inside the bed. The location is great, the place was very clean. 10/10recomend At the actual hostel, there were not many other people there, mostly just me and the staff staying there. A few other guests but not many at all. Not a problem for me, the staff are very nice, but if you are looking to meet other travellers, this may not be the best option.

Located in a really good place -even though there’s nothing much to see around little India- it’s close to the metro station, buses, and even if you walk around the neighbourhood at 1 am, you will feel safe because there are a lot of shops open 24/7 and a lot of people in the streets! So, even tho there were BEDBUGS in the bed of the girl next to me, it didn’t happen to me and I didn’t have any problem. The bedbugs things was something that I had read before in the reviews, so I knew it.

Stayed here with my fiance on a recent trip. Female receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, others were less approachable but when you did were helpful. Dorms basic bunk rooms but clean and perfect for what we needed, shared showers and toilet well maintained and very clean. Not much atmosphere in hostel but that suited us for our stay, definitely not a party hostel. Free scooter tour was amazing & took in all the main sights you want to see (note its 4.5 hours, sweaty & manual scooter)

Right in the middle of little India with a 711 next door and countless places to eat nearby, as well as a subway station round the corner, the hostel is great for location. Staff very friendly and helpful, with a decent living room/kitchen area to hang out. WiFi is ok here, but downside is it doesn’t reach the rooms. They themselves don’t include any blankets unless you rent one. Bathrooms spacious with plenty of stalls, tho stinky. Highlight is the free scooter tour - a must do!!

The dorm room smelled, the blankets looked like they weren't washed ever. Shower/toilet poorly maintained, not sure how often it gets cleaned. No WiFi in the dorm. Good location (close to MRT, little india, Arab street)
