About

The Nest Boutique Hostel is an alternative accommodation concept which blurs the lines between a hotel, guesthouse and a hostel by offering quality accommodation with unique social spaces, attention to detail, an individual touch and a strong emphasis on the local community. We try our best to be as eco friendly as possible and are always searching for new ways to lessen our impact on the environment.

The Nest Boutique Hostel is situated only two minutes walk to the shops, bars and restaurants in the seaside village of Salthill. It is less than a minute from the beach and a long promenade which stretches from Salthill to The Claddagh in Galway. It is a leisurely 20 minute stroll into Galway city centre, and the bus stop is just outside our door with a regular bus to and from Galway city (from early morning till midnight).

The Nest offers a majority of double and twin ensuite rooms which have comfy beds, soft linen, power showers and contemporary Irish art work. Family bedrooms are available which contain a double and twin room connected by a private bathroom or two double rooms connected by a bathroom. For groups or individuals, there are six and seven bed dorms which are ensuite and one dorm with shared bathroom. Here at The Nest we have a variety of flexible room types to suit any groups needs and a continental style breakfast can be provided for €8 per person per day and consists of fresh bread, a pastry, tea, coffee, cereal, fresh fruit and a selection of spreads. Breakfast can be booked on arrival.

Really beautiful and clean hostel. The staff were nice, and the location was cute - Salthill is a charming place. I would give caution, however - this is not a party/social nightlife hostel. When my friend and I asked about the hostel bar crawl that other people were mentioning (they were staying at another hostel), the staff said the hostel was too fancy for that type of thing. Many of the people staying were a bit older - thinking there was some sort of tour group staying there? If you want to go out and

Very pleasant stay there! Comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast with tons of options at a very reasonable price. The exterior is stunning but its also a very good location to stay at, close to many restaurants and pubs. I particularly recommend O'Connors where you can also find some live music. A special mention to the amazing staff, very kind and attentive ❤️

Lovely hostel to stay at, a little of a walk to the centre, but have a great kitchen to cook, a nice outside area, and a bathroom in the dorm.
