Summary of traveller reviews

Young & Happy Latin Quarter by Hiphophostels in Paris boasts an unbeatable location in the vibrant Latin Quarter, perfect for exploring. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. However, recent reviews frequently mention issues with bathroom cleanliness, including mold, and the showers can be problematic with timed water flow. Some guests also note a lack of power outlets near beds and uncomfortable, noisy beds.

First hostel I’ve been too so I don’t have any previous experience to compare it to. The staff where helpful and always present no matter the hour. Security wise you could open the door to our room which was the top floor without the key card. Therefore technically anyone could have come in, as well as the lockers I couldn’t figure out how to attach my padlock to them. Security wise nothing bad happened and the ppl I met where lovely in the hostel. Communal area is small tho.

Amazing location, in the middle of the 5th arrondissement, but still very local. Not the most social hostel, but the staff was great, and the atmosphere overall was pretty chill. The women's 4-bed room was very big and spacious, with a big table, a huge mirror, and a sink inside. It made getting ready/hanging out there much easier and homey.

Fantastic location in the heart of the Latin quarter and staff are very nice and helpful. Kitchen had everything you need. However, the room was pretty dirty and dusty, the beds were very squeaky, no outlets by any of the beds, the bathroom had mould all over the ceiling, the shower head was a pipe that water blasts you for 30 seconds at a time, and the lockers don’t fit any bags in them. It’s fine if you’re just looking for a place to sleep.
