One step away from the Rambla, one of the main arteries of Barcelona, ??where you can find Gran Teatre del Liceu, Palau Gell, Plaza Real and a few minutes from the Boquera market.

The boulevard separates two of the most famous neighborhoods of the city to which you will have access on foot from Ideal Youth Hostel, Raval neighbourhood and Gothic neighbourhood, where, among other things, you can find a wide range of museums in addition to Plaza de Catalunya and the Barcelona's cathedral. The rooms were crowded and we had no place for our big bags, so everyone had to walk over them. There were no privacy curtains, which was annoying .The temperature was fine. There was no lock on our toilet door, and the shower flooded. There was blood/stains on our sheets, but the receptionists gave us clean sheets immediately. The receptionists were the best part- so helpful and sweet! Also the pub crawl was too expensive and totally not worth it. 20 euros for three boring clubs.

Great location close to the main streets. The bunks and lockers are super small. There’s a fridge but no kitchen and the common areas aren’t a place we cared to hang out in. bathrooms/showers are shared with male and female dorms so there is no privacy. Balcony was cute.

The night I arrived at the hostel there was a transgender person that was in the room alone with he/she tried to sexually harrassing me by showing his genitals to me and masturbating whislt looking at me. I went down to report it so the girl at reception moved me into another room but i still saw this person in the hostel. I know the only reason they didnt wawant to throw him out because they dont want to look transphobic but its okay for me to get attacked because im a straight white man
