In Dutchies Hostel we love what we do and people seem to dig it too! Now we also have capsule room for maximum sleeping comfort.

Our guests can use our FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN to make their own meals. We offer free coffee and tea and other items for cooking.
Dutchies has an eatery, a TV room, two lounges, and a smoking terrace. We also offer bicycle rental, bicycle storage, public transportation tickets, towel rental, tickets for museums and several attraction, free city maps, laundry service per request and parking.

Dutchies is a modern, recently built hostel in Amsterdam. The hostel is located on the ground floor of a building with student housing. The location is in the west of Amsterdam and is close to Amsterdam Sloterdijk, which has great bus, tram and metro connections. Dutchies has big, comfortable rooms that are beautifully decorated. The entire hostel is filled with murals which gives Dutchies a unique look.

The city center, museum district, and other attractions are a 15-20 minute tram ride away. From Schiphol Airport it takes about 20 minutes to get to us.
There is an option to rent a bike at the reception for 16 euro for 24 hours. We offer many more amenities as well. Check it out for yourself!


Minimum/maximum age: The minimum age is 16 years. Children younger than this cannot stay with us. The maximum age is 40.

staff were lovely and bedrooms very clean and quiet. but showers and toilets were not very clean, the kitchen was also not so clean and was quite small. the atmosphere was quite male heavy but everyone was very kind and the security was amazing. it was quite far out of the city centre but in a nice area. would still visit again!

Great experience here! Its an older building yet they are on top of their cleaning and making sure its a friendly environment. Community kitchen with all the necessities. Supermarket right across the street. Of my hostel experiences this is my best experience as a whole.

Great location, second or third time here. Needs improvement: - humidity and drainage issue in the showers (floor is a pool) - broken lockers: hard to put your lock through.
