One of my favorite hostels in South America. Great value, a huge pool with shaded areas, and excellent fans that keep the rooms comfortable despite no A/C. The atmosphere is amazing, with great music by the pool and some of the best hostel cocktails I’ve had—strong, affordable, and delicious. We often came back just to hang out before going out again. Friendly staff, lots of space to relax, and an easy place to spend a few days.

Great staff and nice clean rooms. Good atmosphere around the pool. One thing to note is that the private room had no glass panes, just fly screens. I'm told this is normal in this climate, so I haven't faulted the review. But if you find it difficult to sleep with noise make sure you bring earplugs - there's no glass between you and the street or the pool bar
