Most staff are either rude or indifferent, especially the breakfast lady—no greetings, smiles or responses. Volunteers are left handling guests alone despite lacking basic knowledge. Guests can’t use the kitchen stove for no apparent reason. Outside alcohol is banned while beer costs 12k COP, far above anything we paid at other hostels. Breakfast is basic, hammocks smell bad, and no towels (private room). Overall, this place feels focused on milking tourists.
