Taco Shack Diving Hostel is a ONE-STOP shop. We offer FREE accommadation with our dive course .

The hostel is a 5 minutes walk to Sairee beach, which is famous for it relaxing beach by day and electrifying nightlife. There are plenty of shops and restaurants close by to please any shopaholic, very easy to walk around from place to place.

This property has 6 Curtain beds, mixed, aircon dorm rooms with en suite bathroom for your convenience. Each room offers large comfortable mattress, your own power outlets, nightlight and phone holder . There are fast free Wi-Fi throughout the building, hot showers, and metal lockers for your safety. The rooms have a balcony to relax on with fantastic sea view.

Breathtaking sunset view, 2 garden terraces and a huge rooftop for chilling out while enjoying the sunset.

The restaurant serves great Mexican food with an island twist for those travelers who are a bit bored of rice and noodles. Every evening we set up games and activities for guests to make new friends and socialize with cheap beers, cocktails, and of course, buckets.

Discovering the underwater world with Taco Divers and get your worldwide SSI dive license is a big plus.

- We reserve the right to cancel any reservation after 20:00, please email us if you are running late.
2. Check-out Time: until 11 am.
(1) Half day fine for late checks out during 12:00 - 16:00.
(2) 1 day fine for late check out after 16:00.
3. Payment: Cash
4. Cancellation Policy:
(1) NO REFUND
5. Age Restriction: The minimum age to check in is above 17 years old, no children.
6. Reception Hours: between 08:00 and 21:00.
7. ALL guests will be have to leave 500 baht security deposit or passport. Upon check out guests will be giving back 500 baht or passport.

Our room was absolutely boiling and even after requesting for it to be fixed and they said it was fixed it was still boiling. I also accidentally left an AirPod there which they refused to send back to me even after offering to pay for mailing.

Social hostel in good location, however price didn’t match the quality. It wasn’t awful, just kinda average. The shower drain was blocked so every time you went to shower you were standing in used water. The top bunk curtains also don’t fully cover you so it feels kinda exposed. There are plenty of great options for accommodation in Koh tao which offer more/better for the same price. We stayed in three different hostels in sairee area, and this was the most expensive for the least to offer.

I was quite disappointed by my experience at Taco Shack considering the great reviews. While the bed was comfy and the common room was nice, the cleanliness and facilities were not. The bathroom was very dirty and had a horrible smell. There was a constant puddle on the floor and shower, the sink didn’t drain, and there was no ledge or place to store your belongings in the bathroom or room. The location wasn’t horrible, but it is quite a walk to the main strip of Sairee.
