The Like Hostel & Cafe

The Like Hostel & Cafe is a cosy, social hostel in the heart of Saigon — just a short walk from Bui Vien Walking Street, but with a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This isn't a big party hostel. Think wholesome social vibes, easy conversations, rooftop hangs, and a lovely place to start or end your journey in Vietnam 🫶

We’re in a great spot for exploring the city: close to cafés, street food, nightlife, shops, and many of Saigon’s main sights. We’re also just a 1-minute walk from Nguyễn Trãi Street — one of the best areas in Saigon for local Vietnamese clothing brands, affordable fashion shopping, and tasty local food.

We’re a small “home away from home” where you can meet other travellers, join simple social activities, cook on the rooftop, play guitar, or just chill with a book, coffee, or good conversation. It’s a good place if you want to make friends, explore Ho Chi Minh City, and still get a proper night’s sleep. Who knows, you might even make your new best friend here to explore the rest of Vietnam with! :)

All dorm beds come with thick privacy curtains, personal lights, charging points, lockers, and comfortable bedding. Our dorm rooms are air-conditioned, and guests can enjoy fast free Wi-Fi, hot showers, shower gel, shampoo, and secure luggage storage.

We keep things simple, clean, and comfortable, with daily cleaning, fresh bedding, and free bedding replacements available on request. Our team is also happy to help with local tips, tours, transport, SIM cards, onward travel, and exploring Saigon on a budget.

Before check-in, you’re welcome to leave your luggage with us while you wait. After check-out, you can still hang out at the hostel, store your bags, and take a shower before your bus or flight.
