Puma House

Puma House is your local hostel and base in Puerto Natales before and after exploring Torres del Paine and Chilean Patagonia.

We are a warm, clean and welcoming hostel run by locals who know the region and are happy to help you plan your trip. We offer comfortable private rooms and shared dormitories for backpackers, solo travellers, couples and groups in a calm and friendly atmosphere: social, but not a party hostel.

LOCATION

Puma House is approximately a 10-minute walk from Puerto Natales town centre and the bus terminal. It is a convenient place to prepare for Torres del Paine, rest after your trek and explore the town.

We do not have laundry facilities inside the hostel, but we are happy to recommend nearby local laundries and support local businesses in Puerto Natales.

FOOD

Breakfast is not included. You can prepare your own meals in our fully equipped shared kitchen. Complimentary tea and coffee are available.

RECEPTION, CHECK-IN AND LATE ARRIVALS

Reception is open daily from 09:00 to 22:00. Regular check-in is from 14:00 to 22:00.

If you expect to arrive after 22:00, you must contact us in advance via WhatsApp so we can coordinate self-check-in and send your access video and instructions privately. Access codes and the WiFi password are never included automatically in confirmation emails.


If you arrive before 14:00, you are welcome to wait in the common areas. General cleaning takes place between 10:00 and 14:00. Check-out is until 10:00.

PAYMENTS AND CONDITIONS

• Cancellation policy: 72 hours before arrival
• Rates do not include Chilean VAT (19%)
• USD payments are accepted in cash or through Wise, PayPal or WeTravel
• Transfer or platform fees must be covered by the guest so Puma House receives the full amount
• Credit card payments are processed in Chilean pesos (CLP), and VAT applies
• The property may pre-authorize your card
