Summary of traveller reviews

The Paica in Denpasar offers friendly staff and spacious rooms, with some guests enjoying a peaceful stay away from tourist hubs. However, recent reviews highlight significant issues with cleanliness, mould, and misleading room photos. Some bathrooms lack sinks and have had plumbing problems.

Based on my stay, the staff were friendly, but the property is very misleading compared to the photos online. The images make the place look much nicer than it actually is. I booked a private room with an ensuite, but the bathroom had no sink, which was never mentioned. I was told the bidet was leaking, but the water to the entire bathroom had been shut off, so I had to manually turn the water on each time I used the toilet or shower. By the end of my stay, the toilet stopped flushing completely

Absolutely disgusting, filthy hostel. One of the worst I have ever stayed in. (I have stayed in many all over the world) room looked NOTHING like pictures, graffiti all over the walls, room was damp and covered in mould. Bed smelled like SICK didn’t dare sleep in it had to put a towel on top and lay on that. Asked to change rooms but was refused as had already used the toilet. Bathroom was foul, smelt bad, water pressure in the shower was non existent. DO NOT RECOMMEND WHATSOEVER GO ELSEWHER

booked this for some peace & quiet & was disappointed by the noise. The windows are mesh nets so you can hear everything outside- the construction, the motorcycles that drive up & down the alley, dogs barking, cats fighting, and all the workers. You can hear this throughout the entire night & early in the morning. I was woken up at 7am every single day. I Slept awful. The room is nice, mostly clean, good value. Rain leaked from the ceiling and completely drenched my bed &me couldn’t find staff
