Lost Boyz is a haven for backpackers, surfers, Lost Boyz and Girlz alike, based in the heart of wave paradise Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Our vibrant space resonates with the young, creative, and open-minded people that come to Santa Teresa.
In our adults-only accommodation you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our jungle setting, featuring lounge areas such as our pool, treehouse, garden, and bar. Our space also is known for its social vibe- you’ll find guests meeting during our daily and nightly activities, cooking a dinner together in our shared kitchen, and catching waves together in the morning.

While we spend our time playing in paradise, we are also strongly committed to protecting it as well. We are proud to offer eco-friendly accommodation- zero-water waste, responsible food waste management systems, naturalized AC, and use of eco-friendly products are all part of our initiative.

We maintain a high standard throughout our hostel, during your stay you can enjoy comfortable beds, spacious dorm rooms (each with a balcony overlooking the garden), private cabins, premium private suites with AC, and regular cleaning. We have a full-time cleaning staff to ensure comfort.

For any question, just talk to our courteous receptionists. Whether you’re looking for a tour, ATV rental, shuttle, surf lesson, or just wanna know which way is the beach, we’ve got you covered.

Denis was one of the loveliest people we’ve met, unlike other staff members. Really great facilities - free pool table and a great swimming pool which we loved. Denis was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel right at home! The bathrooms were very clean however the kitchen could’ve been better equipped. The bedrooms were spacious and there are lots of communal areas including a tree house!

In itself a pretty nice hostel, especially the common areas are really nice like the pool and the bar and there's a nice atmosphere. It's pretty spacious and clean as it gets cleaned every day. There are some things that could be improved though. The rooms don't have AC, there's basically no good light in the dorms which was probably the most annoying thing, because if you wanted to for example pick out an outfit or just look for things in the room you had to do that with a torch.
