About

Conceptualized as a meeting point for curious travelers, digital nomads and locals, we try to make budget travelling a memorable cultural experience, paired with the coziness of a home and adequate service.

Shared spaces are sacred to us, that is why we constantly reinvent ourselves with new art pieces, ongoing events and varied healthy recipes in our deli menu. Our centrally located home, could be yours for a few days, weeks or months if you feel like becoming an Albanian resident and enjoy the relaxed vibes of a rising Mediterranean country.

The units at the hostel are fitted with a seating area. All rooms are fitted with a shared bathroom and a shower, while certain rooms will provide you with a balcony. All rooms at Mosaic Home include air conditioning.

When I booked this hostel the reviews were much better. This hostel has potential but unfortunately like a lot of the recent comments the place has not been well looked after. The bed was fine but other areas of the hostel were dirty and run down. No AC in the 3 bed room and in the summer it's hot in Tirana. Staff were nice and the security was good.

WhenI booked, this hostel had an 8.5 rating and really good reviews so I was shocked with what I found. It is filthy!! The toilet/showers are disgusting. There's no ventilation so the place stinks. There were holes in the bed sheets and the comforter smelled like damp. Mostly men in this hostel, not comfortable for a solo female traveller at all. Staff were nice which was the only positive.

I just stayed for one night so it wasnt too much of an issue, but the place needs maintenance and cleanliness. The bathrooms werent clean, the wall next to my bed had dead mosquitoes stuck on it. Couches and tables were dirty and the location isnt super convenient either. Some rooms had no doors, so not very secure. There was no social vibe either
