Welcome to Tilia Hostel, a calm, social space in the heart of Faro.
Think slow mornings, sunny rooftops, and easy connections.
You walk in, drop your bag, and within an hour you’re on the rooftop talking to someone you just met. That’s usually how it starts at Tilia Hostel in Faro.
People meet naturally here, over coffee on the rooftop, in the living room, or while planning the next beach day. By sunset, you’re sharing it with people who were strangers that morning.
We’ve built this place to feel easy. A calm, natural space where you can work, cook, stretch, or just slow down for a bit. Good Wi-Fi, a cozy living room, and corners that make you want to stay longer than planned.
We’re right in the centre of town, a couple of minutes from everything, and a short ferry from the beach, your daily ritual, if you do it right.
Mornings start slow, nights end on the rooftop, and somewhere in between you feel lighter.

Our reception is open 24 hours a day and you can check in any time after 3PM. If you arrive early, you can leave your bags in our lockers (just bring a padlock, or buy one here for €3).
Upon arrival, we will ask you for a €5 key deposit which will be returned at check out.
Furthermore, please be aware that city tax will be added to your final bill. (2€ per person per night - March to October / 1€ per person per night November to February.
The minimum age for check-in into a dorm is 18. Any guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by responsible guardians and must have booked a private room.
We have a maximum stay of 14 nights.
