This is probably my 12th time in this hostel. I keep going back time after time. Everything about it is great. I do have to apologise for nearly taking the roof off when Scotland scored the 4th goal against Denmark to take us to the world cup. The staff were brilliant, giving me permission to cheer. As someone once said, I'll be back.

Casa d’Alagoa is more than a hostel, it’s a gathering place where travellers of all ages can meet and feel at home. As soon as you arrive, you are greeted and notice the very clean and spacious areas. The hostel is well managed by Helena and her staff (special thanks to Leo and G); who can help you discover the beautiful town of Faro and beyond. One thing is for sure, you will want to come back!!

Very big hostel with nice facilities, but extremely noisy. From my room, I could hear everything happening outside and in the lobby because of the open areas. Would not recommend for light sleepers. Apart from that, very clean and practical space, near a lot of great spots.
