The Equity Point Budapest housed in a renovated 19th-century building is located in the heart of Budapest, in the centre of Pest, close to many tourist attractions and surrounded by the most famous ruin bars in town.
Our hostel offers fully renovated shared dormitories with 4,6,8 and 10 beds. 6 beds female only rooms are also available.
For those looking for some privacy while enjoying of the hostel vibe you can choose between our refreshed twin, doubles, triples, quads and 6 beds private rooms.
All our rooms are ensuited and dorms offer small lockers for your valuables while private rooms have safes.
Free WiFi is available in the entire hostel.
Under operative Hungarian law, all citizens are required to have an official identity document (identity card, passport or driving licence card) regardless of age, thus now including the newborn.
If the documents are not presented, the accommodation provider shall refuse to provide the accommodation service

Our facilities include a bar with a beer garden, a restaurant, social areas and laundry. Some of those facilities will be open in the next weeks and may not be available at the time of your stay.
BOLD is a brand-new cocktail bar located on the ground floor of Equity Point Hostel. With meticulously created signature cocktails, all of them based on typical Hungarian ingredients, BOLD is the perfect meeting point for both locals and travelers of all ages, nationalities, genders, races, and sexual orientations. BOLD is home to bold characters - those who are whoever they want to be and love everyone else just as they are.

Guests under 18 are not allowed to share rooms if they are not coming with one adult.

Bar area is very spaced out and there isn’t much opportunity to talk to others. The shower in our room had problems draining because the drain was clogged with hair. The padlocks that are provided for the lockers do not prevent them from being opened.

No floor or hand towels! Bathroom floor was just constantly wetness, rooms were dirty. No lockers to put belongings in. No atmosphere.
