About

Hostal el Costenito started in middle of the pandemic (end 2019) but has been positioned in the eyes of many foreigners and locals. We are constantly remodeling and adding new stuff to offer the best lodging option in the city.

We love the environment for which we are committed to the culture of recycling, energy saving and reforestation in areas near the hostel.

El Costenito's Hostel works every day to provide great customer service and incredible prices to transform your stay into an unforgettable experience.

Soriana's Supermarket is in the next street from the hostel and so many places to enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you prefer we also bring to you a fully equipment kitchen to cook your dishes.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Over the Christmas festival so no one else was really staying here, felt like I had my own house in a different country ahah. Is about a 30-40 minute walk to town but there are plenty of taxis and busses that go around. Is a work in process but I am very excited to see what this place turns into in the future. Tadeo was super helpful and friendly. Would stay again during my next visit to Veracruz

The guy running the hostel was nice but it is still a working progress. The was no signage and the booking system didn’t work so I was only able to stay for one night rather than the 3 that I booked. I can see that it will be an ok option in a few months time after a few improvements are made. It’s definitely an ok option for anyone who is keen to visit Veracruz :)

This was a great hostel- although a bus was needed to get to the malecon, the bus stop was just at the end of the street. I would recommend this hostel for your stay in Veracruz!
