ABOUT YOUKI HAUS

Youki Haus is a quiet and welcoming guesthouse in the Parque Rodó area of Montevideo, ideal for working, socialising and relaxing.

The building has plenty of charm and architectural character, with attractive details both inside and outside. We have decorated it with care to create a warm, practical and comfortable atmosphere where guests can quickly feel at home.

The hostel is located at San Salvador 2248, with easy access to public transport, shops, supermarkets, markets, restaurants and cafés serving local and international food.

Parque Rodó, the beach and several cultural attractions are within easy walking distance. Montevideo’s Old Town can also be reached on foot or by public transport.

Youki Haus is suitable for backpackers, students, digital nomads and guests planning longer stays. The hostel offers a terrace, shared spaces, Wi-Fi and a fully equipped communal kitchen.

OPTIONAL SERVICES AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Breakfast

Optional breakfast is available for USD 6.90 per person per day. It is served daily from 7:30 to 10:30 and is not included in the accommodation price.

Towels

Towels are included in private rooms. For dormitory stays, towels are available for rent for USD 3 each.

Laundry service

Laundry service costs USD 6 per standard load of up to 6 kg of dry clothing. Detergent and air drying are included.

Several guests may share one load as long as the maximum weight is not exceeded. Larger quantities are charged as an additional load.

Tumble dryer

Use of the tumble dryer costs an additional USD 6 per standard load. The service is subject to availability and must be arranged in advance.

Pets

Pets are accepted only with prior confirmation and only in suitable private rooms.

The fee is USD 15 per pet for stays of up to seven nights. For longer stays, the price and conditions must be agreed with the property in advance.

A maximum of one pet per room is permitted. Pets may not be left alone in the room. Additional charges may apply in the event of damage or exceptional cleaning.

Additional person

An additional sleeping place may be available in selected private rooms for USD 15 per person per night.

This service is subject to the permitted room capacity, availability and prior confirmation. It includes an additional bed or mattress, bed linen and one towel. Breakfast is not included.

An additional person cannot be accommodated in a room that is not approved for the corresponding occupancy.

Bed configuration

Some private rooms can be prepared with either one double bed or two single beds.

Guests should communicate their preferred bed configuration before 18:00 on the day before arrival.

Changes requested on the arrival day, after the room has already been prepared, are subject to availability and may incur a USD 5 service fee.

Luggage storage

Luggage storage is available only by prior arrangement and subject to available space.

On the check-out day, luggage storage is free until 15:00.

Storage until 23:00 costs USD 3 per guest and includes up to two standard pieces of luggage.

Guests should not leave cash, documents, electronic devices or other valuables inside stored luggage.

Staying after check-out

Check-out is at 11:00.

Guests who have returned their room or bed may use the common areas free of charge until 15:00, subject to availability.

Staying until 20:00 costs USD 5 per person.

Staying until 23:00 costs a total of USD 8 per person. The USD 8 fee replaces the USD 5 fee and is not charged in addition to it.

This service includes normal luggage, Wi-Fi, use of the common areas, access to the communal kitchen and one shower. It does not include continued access to the room or to a bed.

Staying after 23:00 is not possible unless an additional night is booked.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All optional services are subject to availability. Services requiring preparation, additional space or special arrangements must be requested and confirmed in advance.

The communal kitchen closes at 23:00. Quiet hours begin at 23:00.

Electrical outlets may be different from those used in your home country. We recommend bringing a suitable travel adapter.
