Youki Haus is a quiet, community-oriented guesthouse in Parque Rodó, Montevideo — 200m from the Rambla and the beach. The building has a lot of architectural charm and character, full of details inside and out. We decorated it with care to create a warm, practical and welcoming atmosphere. Upstairs there is a rooftop terrace full of plants, with a hammock, seating areas and a big table. It's an awesome place to relax and take the sun or enjoy the evening. Downstairs you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, a common room with a large table for eating and working, and a lounge with sofas to relax. There's WiFi and we have a laundry service.
We're not a party hostel. We offer a social but calm, clean and well-organized environment for travelers who value rest, connection and a sense of community. Guests often say the hostel feels like home — and that's exactly what we're going for.

Parque Rodó is a green, safe and well-connected neighborhood, close to the Río de la Plata, public transport, universities, restaurants, bars and Tres Cruces bus terminal. It's an ideal base to settle in, explore the city and continue traveling towards Brazil or Buenos Aires.
Rooms & Facilities.
All rooms include bed linen and access to shared bathrooms with showers. Private rooms include towels; towels can be rented in dormitories for an additional fee. Some rooms feature a balcony, workspace or direct access to the rooftop terrace.
Check-in & Check-out
Reception is open from 7:30 AM to midnight. You can arrive from 7:30 AM onwards to leave your luggage and use all common areas. Access to your room or bed is usually available from 2:00 PM. Regular check-in is from 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Late check-in (after midnight) is possible with prior arrangement and involves an additional fee. Arrival after 11:30 PM without prior notice is not possible.
Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be possible depending on availability — just ask.
Policies
Cancellation: 1 day before arrival. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged for the first night.
Payment: Cash, credit and debit cards accepted upon arrival.
Pets: Allowed upon request.
