With a privileged location next to the airport, just 9 minutes away from the Historic City and 4 blocks from the beach, Hostal El Bando will give you not only the facilities you need to get around on your vacation, but also the tranquillity of being in one one of the safest neighbourhoods in the city. You will find comfortable private and shared rooms, as well as a perfect pool and recreation area where you can interact with other guests. Open and big kitchen with all the facilities for you to make your best dishes, or if you prefer, you can choose one from ours in our restaurant. Relax and watch Tv, you can do it too in our community Tv area. We will also be offering you the best tours to do in Cartagena and its surroundings.
One block away from the airport and without the noise of it, surrounded by supermarkets, pharmacies and everything you need. The two best beaches of Cartagena are just minutes away from us, The beach of Crespo, the neighbourhood beach, it's just 5 minutes walking, and Playa Azul, in La Boquilla, less than 5 minutes by taxi. Please note that we are not a party hostel, here you will find the opposite to it, so just relax by the pool. For safety reasons and tranquillity, we don't accept minors of 12 years old.
All our rooms have air conditioning (Please check the information for its schedules). Roof fan and private bathroom. The private ones include also towel, shampoo and air conditioner, and if you prefer the shared dormitories, we will give you those too for a minimum charge.
Hostal El Bando Policy and Condition:
Cancellation Policy: 2 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Due to the energy rationing of the city 'cause the dramatic changes that El Niño has generated, the air conditioners will be in operation only from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. A little help for the planet on our part, but if you want to use it at different times, an extra $40.000 Colombian pesos per day will be charged. We appreciate your understanding.
