El Parador Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation Policy: 48hs before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
If leaving earlier than days booked, those days are non-refundable.

Payment upon arrival by cash in USD.

Please note that due to severe fluctuations in the Argentine pesos, rates are in USD to avoid any price difference and misunderstandings. If you choose to see the rate in ARS, please beware that it is only referential and at the exchange rate of the day you are booking, which may change by the time you check in. This is why rates are in USD and do not change.

3. Before leaving, close the windows (in case of rain)
4. It is not allowed to open the door to strangers.
5. IMPORTANT: The capacity of the elevators is 3 people WITHOUT BAGS. Please respect the capacity, or it may break down on the way.
6. Please take care of my babies. Do not leave the front door open under any circumstances, Tanguito could walk away!!
7. It is not allowed to feed the pets, nor walk Olivercito
8. Parties nor other guests are not allowed.
9. Mutual respect: It is essential to respect other guests, their belongings and their personal space.
10. It is prohibited:
a) Enter rooms other than yours
b) Taking other people's belongings such as food from the kitchen.
c) Have sexual relations with other guests inside the house.
11. Be kind to other people 😊 lets all create a nice context together
12. For security reasons , I request a photo of the passport or ID before entry.
13. Keep the room and common areas clean and tidy to create a pleasant environment for everyone. Personal hygiene is mandatory.
14. The Building prohibits smoking in the facilities
15. Take care of your belongings, the house is not responsible for their care or loss.
16. It is prohibited to drink alcohol inside nor enter drunk, drugged or in any state that disturbs the building's neighbors or guests.
17. He who breaks, pays, he who loses, replaces.
18. Please take care of the keys, replacing them has a cost of 40 USD . The key must be returned to the Host personally along with the towels.

A lovely little apartment with great surroundings. Situated right by China town and close to train/bus station. Safe neighborhood, I felt safe walking outside past 12 a clock. Close to cheap supermarket and good facilities such as a kitchen, fridge, shower and washing machine (costs). Only downsides were that there weren’t any curtains for the bunkbeds and also some insects that would crawl on the wall by the bed from time to time. Amazing host!

About Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is often called the Paris of South America, but with its passionate residents, seductive tango and mouth-watering parrilla grills, it has a personality all of its own. The name dates from the 1920s, when Argentina’s economy was booming and its capital city invested in ornate, European-style buildings like the iconic Café Tortoni and Palacio Barolo. Today, Buenos Aires combines its cosmopolitan grandness with a thriving creative scene that saw it named the world's first UNESCO City of Design in 2005.

Hostels in Buenos Aires likewise blend traditional with modern, with options including a 140-year-old restored mansion with wrought-iron balconies and a glass-roofed atrium. You can take in the city from a Buenos Aires hostel with rooftop terrace or choose one with an outdoor barbecue to get on board with the Argentine love for asado (meaning 'grilled'). Many Buenos Aires hostels also offer daily activities like Spanish classes, tango shows, pub crawls and football.

Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood are Buenos Aires' creative neighbourhoods, with designer boutiques, international restaurants and slick cocktail bars. Football is almost a religion in Buenos Aires, so try to get a ticket to a Boca Juniors or Rio Plata match, or a guided stadium tour. To get closer to the city's history, check out the grand presidential mansion, commonly known as the Casa Rosada (Pink House), on the Plaza de Mayo, which is famous for its balcony where Eva Perón addressed the nation. You can learn more about her life at the Evita Museum and even track down her grave at the maze-like Cementerio de la Recoleta.

Buenos Aires is a vast city, so you’ll need to get around by metro (subte), bus or bike using the city’s free bike scheme, EcoBici. International flights mostly arrive at Aeropuerto Internacional Ministro Pistarini, and you can get a bus to the city centre, as well as the Retiro and Palermo neighbourhoods. If you’re flying from within Argentina, you’ll land at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, which is close to downtown. Retiro Bus Terminal has routes to cities across the country, including Mendoza and Bariloche.
