Summary of traveller reviews

Little Drifter Surry Hills in Sydney offers a great location, praised for its proximity to attractions and transport. Many guests highlight the friendly and helpful staff, with some mentioning specific individuals. While some find the rooms a bit small, the beds are generally comfortable with privacy curtains. However, a recurring concern is cleanliness, particularly in bathrooms and common areas, with mentions of dirt and pests. It suits travellers looking for a central base.

Tiny rooms, no ventilation, metal framed bed bunks with a lot of room on the edges so things fall, no shelves, very noisy when people climb up and down top bunk. My bunk mate came in drunk as a skunk every night, and had a non-stop hacking cough thru the night. I couldn’t sleep a wink for 6 nights there. Legal hazard but mgmt. gave two s****. The hostel is next to a drug rehabilitation center or something - a mentally unstable vagrant kept trying to enter the premises one night repeatedly.
