Bluedot Poshtel is not a hostel chosen out of necessity,
but a hostel chosen by intention.

Just as travelers choose hotels or resorts depending on the purpose of their trip,
we believe hostels are also a deliberate choice —
for travelers who value freedom, connection, and experience.
Choosing a hostel, however, should never mean lowering your standards or self-respect.

Bluedot Poshtel was designed based on the real experiences of someone who has traveled extensively —
to create a place where staying in a hostel still feels confident, comfortable, and satisfying.

Located in the very center of Myeong-dong, our hostel allows guests to enjoy the energy of Seoul without feeling unsafe or isolated at night.
At the same time, Bluedot Poshtel is set slightly off the main street, offering a quieter and more relaxed environment once you step inside.

Our dorm rooms are intentionally designed as sleep-focused spaces.
There are no bathrooms or showers inside the rooms, which helps minimize noise and unnecessary movement at night and allows guests to enjoy deeper, more comfortable rest.

Daily living, recovery, and social interaction take place in our thoughtfully designed shared spaces, created to be actively used rather than simply existing in name.

Bluedot Poshtel offers shared facilities that go far beyond what is typically expected from a hostel, both in scale and quality.

Dorm Rooms

Super single bunk beds (2 meters long)

Thick 20 cm mattresses for superior comfort

Most bunk beds are designed with stairs instead of ladders
(some rooms use ladders due to room layout constraints)

Privacy curtains

Personal power outlets

Clean bedding

One towel provided per night

Guests staying consecutive nights will keep the same bed

Dorm rooms are designed purely for rest, ensuring a quiet and stable sleeping environment.

Bathrooms & Showers

All showers and main bathrooms are located on Basement Level 1 (B1)

Completely separated from dorm rooms to reduce noise

Clean, well-maintained, and sufficient in number

Additional toilet facilities are located between floors for convenience:

1.5 floor: Female restroom

2.5 floor: Male restroom

3.5 floor: Female restroom

5.5 floor: Female-only powder room

This layout helps reduce unnecessary movement at night while keeping dorm rooms quiet.

Basement Level 1 is the heart of Bluedot Poshtel.

These spaces are designed to be actively used and offer a level of comfort rarely found in hostels.

Korean-Style Sauna (Free)

One of Bluedot Poshtel’s most distinctive features is its free Korean-style sauna, available to all guests.

Sauna hours: 15:00 – 22:30

After long days of walking and exploring Seoul, guests can recover both physically and mentally.
This recovery-focused facility is rarely found in hostels and is a key part of what makes Bluedot Poshtel different.

Rooftop Terrace (Seasonal)

Large 5m x 3m screen installed

Movies, sports, and special screenings available

Beer and light food can be ordered

Closed during the winter season

The rooftop is designed to create memorable evenings in Seoul —
a place to relax, watch, and connect above the city.

Outdoor Pocha (Seasonal)

During non-winter seasons, Bluedot Poshtel operates a Korean-style outdoor pocha at the back of the building.

Guests can enjoy casual drinks, light snacks, and a relaxed Korean street-food atmosphere —
a unique local experience without leaving the property.

GamjaN Lounge & Pub (1F)

Bluedot Poshtel is directly connected to GamjaN Lounge & Pub, located on the first floor.

09:00 – 17:00: Café & pub

17:00 – 23:00: Pub & restaurant

Guests can enjoy:

A wide selection of beers

Potato-based signature dishes such as poutine

Pizza, chicken, and other comfort foods

It’s a relaxed place to eat, drink, and unwind without leaving the building.

4️⃣ Room Floors & Layout

Bluedot Poshtel is located in a renovated older building.
Please note that there is no 4th floor, following the original building structure.

2nd floor: Mixed dorm rooms (male & female)

3rd floor: Male-only dorm rooms

5th floor: Female-only dorm rooms

6th floor: Female-only dorm rooms

This layout allows guests to choose the environment that best suits their preferences.
