Welcome to Summer House a place to slow down, connect and feel at home.
More than just a hostel, Summer House is all about community. Whether you’re travelling solo or with friends, you’ll quickly become part of the family.
This season, we’re excited to introduce our cocktail bar, dinner specials and a regular evening program to bring everyone together after a day of surfing or exploring.
Our amazing Social Hosts are always around to help, answer questions and make sure everyone feels included. From the moment you check in, you’ll be invited to our WhatsApp community, where guests can connect, join activities and never miss what’s happening around the hostel.
Our biggest highlight is our spacious outdoor area. Relax in the garden, meet fellow travellers, enjoy a coffee, join a yoga class in our jungle yoga shala or the evening Programm. Or simply slow down and enjoy island life.
Our dorms are simple, cozy and not that big - we believe the best part of hostel life happens outside the room. All dorms include lockers for your valuables, and many guests even leave their backpacks outside the rooms to create more space inside.
We love our location. Summer House is intentionally tucked away from the busy town centre, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to everything you need. We’re just a short walk from Kabalana Beach (around 400 metres), our favourite beach for swimming, sunsets and relaxing. Popular surf spots like Sticks and Marshmallows are also within 5 min walking distance.
