Welcome to Summer House – your cozy home & vegan Café based in Ahangama, Sri Lanka.

Tucked away in a peaceful street just 450 m from Kabalana Beach, we’ve created a space that’s all about slowing down, feeling good, and connecting – with the island, with others, and with yourself.

Whether you’re here to surf, chill or simply be – Summer House offers a warm, lived-in atmosphere with comfy corners to relax in. Our lush garden, countless sofas, shared spaces and vegetarian café invite you to sink in, breathe out and stay a while.

Kabalana Beach is one of the few surf spots on the South Coast perfect for all levels – from first-time surfers to experienced wave chasers. The lineup is still quiet, the vibe laid-back – a real gem, especially for beginners.

We’re more than just a place to sleep – we’re a small community of open hearts and sandy feet.

Gorgeous hostel! Close to Kabalana beach which is probably the nicest in Ahangama. Away from the town but an easy ride in and there are some nice local restaurants nearby. The food in their cafe is amazing and the garden area is so nice. They offer yoga most mornings. It offered the nicest social vibe without being too much :) would definitely recommend
