As a female solo traveller I didn’t feel the safest in this hostel. The front door didn’t lock and the lock to my room had a padlock but most other guests did not lock this. However there were lockers inside the room for valuables. The rooms themselves were very spacious and clean but the beds could do with some privacy curtains. The location wasn’t great but the staff were all so friendly and helpful and provided a shuttle service if you want to be dropped into town/the beach.

It’s a beautiful hostel however it’s surrounded by construction work that goes on from 9-5pm most days, to such an extreme level. Me and the girls in the dorm didn’t feel safe as the main door to the building has no lock + the bedroom door. A man broke into the boys dorm and was going through their stuff one night which got reported and the staff didn’t seem to do much or have any security cameras etc. I really don’t recommend booking especially for the price!

unfortunately i would not book this hostel again. while its in a good location, there is the LOUDEST construction everywhere. there were no social events and the vibes felt like an episode of White Lotus. the boy’s dorm even got broken into the first night and items were stolen. there is no security on site, cameras, or a way to shut/lock the door. would not recommend
