We're here to make sure you get the best bang for your buck. And guess what? We've been doing this for a cool 20 years – we're basically the hostel gurus.

Now, here's the scoop: After you book with us on Hostelworld, we'll send you our Whatsapp, Telegram, or iMessage. Confirm your reservation ASAP, and don't forget to send us all the details for everyone in your crew. We're serious about this.

Cash is king here, but if you're feeling fancy and want to pay with a debit or credit card, we'll happily oblige with a 5% fee. Debit cards like Visa Electron and Maestro are welcome, and we'll even roll out the red carpet for Visa & MasterCard credit cards.

As for our rooms, most come with their own bathrooms – en suite, baby! And we throw in some sweet perks for free:

• Air conditioning for those hot nights (privates get it all day, dorms during the summer or very hot nights)
• Lightning-fast Wi-Fi, even in your room (650 Mbps, to be exact)

• Security lockers (just bring a padlock, and you're golden)

We like to keep things straightforward. You pay for what you need, no more, no less. Here's the lowdown on the freebies and extras:
• Our reception is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• Game on! We've got a free pool table, ping pong, darts, and even a classic arcade machine. And don't forget the bar – open from 7 a.m. to midnight, serving water, sodas, beers, shots, and fancy drinks.
• Catch some rays on our open terrace with a killer view of Christ the Redeemer, open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• Hungry? You can whip up your own grub in our kitchen, open from 7 a.m. to midnight.
• Movie night, anyone? Our TV room boasts a massive 60-inch HDR 4K screen, complete with Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Disney+, Star+, Apple+, Mubi, and our own collection of over 1400 films!
• Got laundry? We've got a spot for you to wash your threads by hand and let 'em dry.
• Need a lock for your locker? Rent one for just R$ 2 per day.
• Towels? We've got you covered – rent one for just R$ 10 and keep it for up to 4 days.
• Hungry for a Brazilian-style breakfast? It's on from 8 to 10 a.m. for just R$ 25 (roughly 4 bucks)!

Due to Hostelworld's own limitations and Brazilian regulations we are unable to automatically charge you in advance. When you book here you pay 15 % to Hostelworld and that means that if you book a non refundable rate — which has to be paid fully upfront — those other 85 % have to be paid to us directly . This can be done using an app that does pix transfers (Brazilian version of wire transfer) such as Wise, Remitly, Astropay or Belo.

If you can't or don't want to pay via pix (wire transfer) you can request a Stripe payment link with a +5 % charge (which is what the credit card operator charges us). Contact us after your booking is done to request it. Remember: reservations without payment will be cancelled.

Now, for the fine print on special events like holidays, New Year's Eve, Carnival, Rock in Rio, and the works:
• Minimum stay: 3-7 nights
• Payment method: Pix able apps such as Wise, Remitly, Astropay or Belo or +5 % Stripe link
• Cancellation policy: Non-refundable, no exceptions
• No-show policy: If you ghost us, we'll charge you at check-in
• Standard rate policy: 50% upfront, and if you cancel within 7 days of check-in, we'll hit you with the other 50%
• Non-refundable rate policy: We'll take 100% upfront, no refunds, particularly on special dates. Got it?

After you've booked on Hostelworld, we'll reach out to handle the payment details. You've got 24 hours to make it happen, or we'll have to cancel your booking. Trust us, it's gotta be this way because everyone and their grandma wants to crash here during those special dates, and we can't afford no-shows. So, let's keep the party going, shall we?
