Great hostel if you are looking for peace and quiet but still want to be close to all the restaurants and bars of Botafogo. The staff are very friendly and helpful (especially Bernardo !!).

There were loads of building works going on which was noisy and spread dust all over the place. Also only a couple of rooms occupied meaning no one hanging out and having drinks. Just no vibe at all. Pool table area is so cramped it’s painful to play. Room itself, the aircon made crazy noises when on and needed replacing desperately. Staff were very lovely and friendly but that’s the only positive thing about this place. Their atm will charge you 180r to take out cash, crazy.
